Residents often comment that they have found “a real sense of community” here in our neighborhood. Community doesn’t just happen. It develops from spending time together, getting to know one another. We spend time together through organized events, we make it easy to become part of our neighborhood!
Ho, Ho, Ho! Come one, come all and have your picture taken with Santa. Every year, Santa makes a stop at our clubhouse to meet and greet with our children. While haivng a yummy breakfast and coffee, it's a Wonderful time of the year for our entire neighborhood to come together and share the Christmas spirit that fills the air.
Every 4th of July, we celebrate our great country’s independence. We come together to have a local neighborhood parade complete with fire engines, sirens, decorated bikes, wagons,
or anything else with wheels. The parade begins at our neighbor crossing bridge and ends at our clubhouse and pool where we have a neighborhood-wide picnic with hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the fixin’s. There’s even a water slide for the kids to enjoy!
Want a night off from cooking dinner? Every Thursday night during the summer swim season, the Cudas host Family Fun Nights. The entire neighborhood is invited to come out and join the fun. Every Thursday night brings a new menu - Pizza, burgers, Mexican food and more. Neighbors gather for the food and social interaction, and to enjoy the newly resurfaced pool too. So, come on down and enjoy the time with neighbors and maybe a splash too.
The Candlelight Hills Cudas are a proud part of NWAL’s summer swim league. Every Spring, children from ages 4-18 join forces to become teammates to compete during the swim season. The Cudas bring a real sense of community to Candlelight Hills for all of the participating families. For more information, check out the Cuda’s website at - www.candlelighthillscudas.com
